An Intro Post of Sorts

wingedflightThanks to the 3 Sentence Ficathon, two things have happened recently:
1) I've created a dreamwidth account and
2) I've made new friieeeeends!
So this post serves two purposes:
1) Experiment with crossposting
2) Say hi to new friieeeeends!
So here we go!
I'm Meagan, known as WingedFlight most places on the web (or wingedflight21, or Winged for short). I'm a third year Canadian business student majoring in marketing who has been writing fic and enjoying fandom since 2008. I use twitter way too much, and post to livejournal (and now dreamwidth) intermittently. I used to have a tumblr but it soaked up way too much of my time so that's history now.
Pretty much all of my fic has been posted to FF.net. Warning: roughly half of these are from my first couple years on the site when I didn't really understand the importance of editing. I like to think I've improved since then. I've also started posting my stories to AO3. Because I have so many stories, it can be difficult to sift through them all so I've created a Fic Directory. (It's still under construction. Yes, I know I'm super nerdy to create a whole site of links but I was bored, so hush. :P )
I also write collabfic with my bestiefreudiancascade under the penname freudwithwings. Since last summer, we've written over 50K of Artemis Fowl fic - and I don't think we're gonna slow anytime soon!
My primary fandom is Narnia, but I watch and read plenty more. My favourite shows include, but are not limited to, Doctor Who, Chuck, Fringe, Leverage, Continuum, Warehouse 13, and Whedon shows. Currently, I'm watching through Eureka on my own, and Buffy with freudiancascade (it's the first time for both of us - we're on S5 right now). My favourite book series are Chronicles of Narnia, Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next, and Arthur Ransome's Swallows and Amazons, and I'm currently reading A Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss.
So, that's enough about me, I think. I love to squee over stuff so feel free to leave a comment about... well, pretty much anything. I love to talk!
